CTE Algo (“we”, “us”) runs ctealgo.com. You can reach us at support@ctealgo.com.
What this policy covers
This policy covers this website only. The CTE Algo product will have its own privacy notice, which is not yet published.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, the topic you chose, your message, and whether you ticked the consent box. If you email us, we receive what you write and your address.
- Routine technical data. When you visit, our hosting provider, the network in front of it (which may include a content delivery network such as Cloudflare) and our server process the data every web request carries, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. We use it to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix faults. We do not use it to build profiles of visitors.
- A short-lived count. To stop abuse of the contact form, the server keeps a count of recent submissions per IP address in memory. Nothing is written to disk, and it is cleared when the server restarts.
- A setting in your browser. If you switch between the Paper and Night themes, we save your choice in your browser's local storage under the name
cte-theme. It stays on your device, we never receive it, and it is not a cookie.
We do not set cookies and we do not run analytics, advertising pixels or tracking on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Why we use it
- To read your message, reply to you and handle early-access requests.
- To run the website securely and reliably.
- To meet legal obligations.
Where the law asks for a legal basis, ours are your request that we respond to you, our legitimate interest in running and securing a website, and legal obligation. The form asks you to tick a box to confirm you have read this policy and agree that we may use your details to reply.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We use a small number of providers to run the site, and they process data on our behalf:
- Render, our hosting provider, serves the website and keeps standard server logs.
- An email delivery provider (currently Resend) carries your contact-form message to our mailbox, and keeps its own record of the message.
- Our email service hosts the support mailbox where your message is kept and answered.
One recipient is not acting on our behalf: your browser loads our typefaces directly from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads and handles them under its own privacy policy.
We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Where it is processed
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
How long we keep it
The website's server does not store contact-form messages; they are passed to our email provider and arrive in our support mailbox, and those keep copies. We keep a message for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a sensible record of the conversation, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. Server logs follow our host's own retention.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection regulator. Email support@ctealgo.com and we will respond within the time the law allows.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We collect only what the form needs, and we ask you never to send passwords, API keys or broker account numbers through it or by email. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This website is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We will post any change here and update the date at the top.
