About these terms
These terms apply when you use ctealgo.com and the early-access request form, run by CTE Algo (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Use of the CTE Algo product will be governed by separate terms, which are not yet published. If those terms and these ever differ, the product's terms apply to the product.
You must be at least 18 to use this site.
Not investment advice
CTE Algo is software for building and testing trading strategies. Nothing on this website is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Examples, illustrations and screenshots, including the sample strategy on the home page, are there to explain how the product works and are not recommendations.
Trading leveraged and other financial instruments carries a high risk of loss, and you can lose more than you intend. Tested or past results do not indicate future results. Decide for yourself, and take independent advice if you need it.
Product status
CTE Algo is in early access. The website describes features as built, in build or switched off to reflect our current position. That is a statement of where we are, not a promise to deliver anything by a date. We may change, delay or withdraw features.
Early-access requests
Sending a request does not create a customer relationship and does not guarantee access. We may accept, decline or defer a request for any reason.
Using the website
You agree not to:
- use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms or disrupts it or other people;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems, or send malware;
- scrape or copy the site in a way that places an unreasonable load on it;
- send passwords, API keys, broker credentials or account numbers through the contact form or by email.
Intellectual property
The name CTE Algo, the logo, the text, the design and the software behind the site belong to us or our licensors. You may link to the site and quote short extracts with attribution. Please ask before reusing anything else.
Other websites
The site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Availability
We try to keep the site available but do not guarantee it will always be, or that it is free of errors. We may change or stop any part of it.
Disclaimers and limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, the website and its content are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss arising from using the site or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
